This stunning brass Alexander salt mill is handmade in Greece maintaining the traditional methods of crafting and inspired by a portable coffee mill design used by Greek soldiers in the field during the early 1900s, their classic design has stood the test of time.

It has s a strong food safe plastic mechanism (40% glass), 38mm diameter and stainless-steel shaft to prevent corrosion. Equipped with 3DCut system, designed to really grind the salt and not just smash it which maximises its flavour and aroma.

The mill's appearance is so attractive that it can be left out as a display piece when not in use.

Each mill provides plenty of room for you to fill it with your rock salt. Simply grind directly over the food.

Please note the handle of the mill is found within the main body of the mill for you to assemble and full instructions are found within the presentation box.

This brass mill is so beautiful, to keep it well maintained, please see our care guide here

Interesting information about how the mill works:

The grinding is done in three steps (3DCut):
1. Grabs and cracks the salt and breaks it in half
2. Cuts it into smaller pieces
3. Sends it to the small teeth and grinds it fast and perfect.
