Maker Story
Epalladio Ceramics was established in Chania, Crete, in 1984 by husband and wife partnership Noufris Papatzanakis and Lotte Neumann. It is a small family business continuing the long tradition of ancient Greek ceramics, focusing on handmade tableware and home decor for use in today’s homes. Crete has the advantage of having one of the longest histories of ceramic making in the Mediterranean world and Epalladio has researched its Island’s ceramic traditions and continued to produce pieces with great skill and expertise.
