This serving board is handmade from sustainable sources of exceptional quality Cretan olive wood and can be used as both a chopping board and a serving board. It is unique board with a smooth work surface. Due to the high density of the olive wood, it does not easily scratch or stain. 

Owing to its beautiful appearance it is a perfect statement piece ​​for serving a variety of dishes for both indoors or al fresco dining.

Olive wood is renowned for being durable giving it a long life span. To take care of your olive wood products, use olive oil and a soft cloth to oil the surfaces of the wood which will bring the grain's natural beauty alive. Let the product sit and absorb the oil for a few hours.

The maker is a small highly skilled family run business, established in  2003, on the Greek Island of Crete. Their focuses is on producing handmade Cretan olive wood products for the home. The olive tree, an ancient symbol of Greece and Crete, is crafted from sustainable sources honouring traditional Cretan technique, producing beautiful products that will sit proudly in the home.
