Maker Story

“Agnythes” – an ancient Greek word meaning weights of a loom – is mother and daughter, Maria and Nefeli's weaving workshop in Nafplio. Here Maria and Nefeli designs and hand weaves shawls, scarves and ties as well as as tablecloths and bed spreads. Traditional hand weaving is an art that is both timeless and rare.
