Our handmade ceramic candles are individually crafted in Athens, Greece using traditional pottery techniques. Each ceramic vessel begins on the potter's wheel before being carefully cut, sculpted, and shaped entirely by hand, making every piece beautifully unique with its own natural character.
The candle is hand-poured using natural white soy wax, providing a clean, long-lasting burn while complementing the beauty of the handcrafted ceramic.
Long after the candle has been enjoyed, the artisan ceramic pot can be reused throughout your home as a planter, trinket dish, tealight holder, or decorative vessel. Chryssavgie Ceramics is an Athens based project founded in 2023 by Chryssavgie. She creates functional and sculptural objects with a contemporary aesthetic using traditional techniques, such as wheel throwing, coiling and slab building. Her work draws inspiration from living nature and earth formations, as well as from the urban landscape of Athens.
